Led by Andrea Nixon on vocals, the band offers a comprehensive review of classic county and contemporary hits from the greatest artists of our time, with a primary focus on ol’ time country sounds. While Andrea most often sings lead, bassist Cody Mack and guitarist Sean Gristwood are professional singers in their own right, enabling the band to interchange roles in order to cover all of country’s hit songs by both male and female artists. With steel guitarist Smokey Fennell and pianist Brennan Cameron, Prairie Sunrise is able to provide all those hot licks that traditional country music fans crave, while Cody and drummer Brett Hanson keeps the rhythm tight and clean.
